The Town of Mount Desert will hold a Special Town Meeting School Budget Validation Referendum Thursday, May 15, 2008, 7:50 a.m. at the Somesville Fire House, 1157 Main Street, Somesville. Following the election of Moderator, the polls will be open from 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. for voting on the referendum ballot to validate the school budget adopted at the Annual Town Meeting May 5 & 6, 2008.
Copies of the Warrant are available at the Town Office.
Absentee ballots are available May 7, 2008.
