Please make every effort to attend the September 10 Special Town Meeting that will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the Kelley Auditorium at the Mount Desert Elementary School. Important issues for Mount Desert will be voted upon, including the purchase of a new street sweeper and a citizen’s petition regarding the Main St. project in Northeast Harbor. A selectmen article regarding the Main St. project in Northeast Harbor will also be on the Warrant.
