Main Street Project
The Northeast Harbor Village Center Improvements Project: As planned and publicized, the contractor will resume work on October 15, 2019. They have provided us with a schedule through the week before the 2020 Memorial Day weekend. We have asked for a weekly breakdown of the work where possible that we will put on this website, similar to what we put on the site this past spring. In general they will be start with work on the water main, storm drain and sanitary sewer piping in the following areas:
On the south end of the project between the Neighborhood House and just south of Maine Gifts by the Sea.
From the intersection of Main Street and Summit Road on Summit Road as far as the entrance to the bank.
Schedules can change based on many factors, including weather and subsurface conditions that are discovered once they start digging. We will keep you posted.
