Town of Mount Desert – Refuse Collection for Memorial Day

There will be no refuse collection on Monday, May 27, 2024. Monday and Tuesday collection will be on Tuesday. No change in the  schedule the rest of the week.

Welcome back to our Summer Visitors! To alert the refuse collectors that you need your refuse picked up, please leave a message on 276- 5733. Of course, this applies to year-round as well as summer residents.

The Town Office will be closed May 27, 2027, for Memorial Day.

Twice a week refuse collection will start, June 10th, and will end September 9, 2024.

REMINDER: The complete refuse schedule, including holidays and summer schedule, can be found in the Annual Town Report (YELLOW PAGES) or on the Town website and in the Town Office.
