Recently, the Fall Village Planning Workshops wrapped up with the final village meeting in Somesville.
 
These workshops were sponsored by the Town of Mount Desert. The Town hired The Musson Group to facilitate the village meetings.  
 
The Musson Group has created an online survey for people who could not attend the meetings and were interested in specifically getting more information.The link to the survey on the Village Planning Workshop page is below:
 

 

The Town of Mount Desert invites residents, business owners, and those who work in Otter Creek, Seal Harbor, and Somesville to participate in village planning community meetings. These meetings are the first in a series of village planning meetings for villages in the Town of Mount Desert taking place this fall in preparation for a Town of Mount Desert comprehensive plan update. Attendees will participate in a facilitated discussion of zoning, land use, housing, transportation, open space, and place-making in the villages. The meetings will be led by The Musson Group, a land use planning and economic development firm located on Mount Desert Island.
