Schedule: Northeast Harbor Main Street Improvements Project Spring, 2020
Location of work: the Work Area for April and May this year is generally both the North and South ends of the project as well as Summit Road.
Traffic Control: During construction, one way traffic in the southerly direction will be maintained.  There may be occasions when there are temporary waits to pass due to a task being worked on.  We will strive to keep this to a minimum.
Main St. Access:  During construction, we ask that drivers try to avoid driving through the construction zone if possible. Most locations on Main Street can be accessed by more than one route.
Schedule: Subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.


Week of April 6:
•     Install Electric vault in front of 127 Main St.
•     Install yard hydrant in island on at intersection of Main and Kimball
•     Install conduit on west side of street, starting around 151 Main headed North
•     Excavate sidewalk and install aggregate base.

Week of April 13:
•     Continue conduit on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Install granite curb beginning at Kimball headed North

Week of April 20:
•     Continue conduit on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Continue installing granite curb on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Begin installing concrete sidewalk at Kimball headed North
•     Install drain manhole, catch basin and storm drain on North end of Main Street

Week of April 27:
•     Continue conduit on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Continue installing granite curb on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Begin installing concrete sidewalk at Kimball headed North

Week of May 4:
•     Continue conduit on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Continue installing granite curb on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Continue installing concrete sidewalk on West side of Main Street headed North

Week of May May 11:
•     Continue conduit on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Continue installing granite curb on West side of Main Street headed North
•     Continue installing concrete sidewalk on West side of Main Street headed North

Week of May May 18:
•     Cleanup and prepare for pavement
•     Pave trenches
•     Demobilize for Summer
