Location of work: the Work Area for February is generally Main Street from the Kimball Lane to North of Old Firehouse Lane.
Traffic Control: During construction, one way traffic in the southerly direction will be maintained. There may be occasions when there are temporary waits to pass due to a task being worked on. We will strive to keep this to a minimum.
Main St. Access: During construction, we ask that drivers try to avoid driving through the construction zone if possible. Most locations on Main Street can be accessed by more than one route.
North Parking Lot Access: Access to the public will be maintained at the North Parking Lot. Temporary closures of parking spots may occur from time to time depending on the task being worked on, but we will strive to keep this to a minimum.
Schedule: Subject to change due to weather or unforeseen conditions.
Week of February 1:
• Complete conduit bank crossing on East side of Main Street across from the Kimball Shop.
Week of February 7:
•Install electrical duct bank on east side of Main Street at the Cottage Shop.
•Install electrical conduit bank on west side of Main Street, opposite the Cottge Shop.
Week of February 14:
•Install conduit bank from pole #4 to centerline of Main Street, in front of Shaw’s Jewelry.
•Install electrical conduit bank on west side of Main Street, opposite Shaw’s Jewelry.
Week of February 21:
•Install conduit bank from pole #3 to centerline of Main Street, in front of Great Harbor Marine Museum.
•Complete electrical conduit bank on west side of Main Street, opposite the Museum.
Week of February 28:
•Install Conduit Bank from poles #3 down Old Firehouse Lane to behind the Museum.
