About Online Tax Bill Payment
Pay Your Property Tax Bills Online!
The Town of Mount Desert has partnered with the State of Maine and Maine Pay Port Online to offer this third party service. Fees apply for any payments made using this service. These fees will be calculated for you prior to your confirming the payment.
Before getting started you will need the following:
- Last name as it appears on your tax bill, or the first name of business if listed as a business
- Account Number (Please use your Map and Lot Number)
- Credit Card Information
Prior Year Taxes and Liens:
If you owe prior year taxes, you may not pay on the InforME website. You will need to call the Tax Collector at (207) 276-5531 to obtain the current balance, including interest and any fees incurred to date.
You may not combine multiple properties in one payment. Please process your payment for each property/account in a separate remittance.
